This book was so special - if there wasn’t another book to read behind it, it would have left me in a reading slump. I highly recommend the audio version. Besides having 2 phenomenal narrators, there are 2 exclusive songs performed that add so much to the story.
The portrayal of Weston in Wild Love doesn’t do him justice. He is such a strong character that loves unconditionally, which is exactly what Skylar needs. They fit together like 2 puzzle pieces, finding what they need in each other.

Single dad romance - forced proximity - Friends to Lovers - Slow Burn - Small town romance - Humour & Banter.
Wild eyes the second instalment in the rose hill series. A rugged mountain town seemed like the perfect escape from a life in shambles. But on day one, she ran full tilt into the world's hottest single dad, and now all her plans are ruined.
I couldn’t put this book down. Hooked from the first chapter, Elsie silver has managed to do it again. Single dad west and his two adorable children take in skylar the country singer. Skylar who has left her life behind meets the gorgeous horse trainer west.
This book was easy to read and the relationship building between west, skylar and the kids is relatable. I really like the way Elsie creates the characters and builds upon the relationships in the book.

I admit I wasn’t a big fan of West in the first book, I thought he was too childish but now damn 🥵 I just loved how he let Sky make decision / change on her own, while helping her heal.

This audiobook was in dual style.
I absolutely love the precious way Skylar bonds with Emy and Oli. Especially Oli. Those scenes always pulled at my heart strings and made my vision blurry. To be heard and seen is the best gift another person can give you.
There is a reason those children are as strong and vibrant as they are and that is because of their amazing dad, West. He’s letting his inner child live and spreading laughs and positivity everywhere he goes. He also hides his sadness and insecurities only being enough for someone.
Pair that with a famous singer who doesn’t flinch when people let her down because it’s happened so many times and you’ve got two souls healing with love that can last forever. West shows her what a real family is and she fills his cup with reassurance, compliments and love.
The only reason I didn’t rate it high enough was because the story felt like it skimmed the surface of the relationship more than delving deeper to extricate emotions and bonds. I also felt like the bond between Skylar and the kids could’ve been more prominent considering how important they are to West.
In summary, I like this book, I just wish it had more emotion and depth in it.
