This was one of the sweetest children's books I've ever read. The title says it's a "gentle story," and that's one of the best ways I can describe it -- gentle and loving and good. 10/10, would recommend.

As advertised, it's a gentle, simple story about gender and friendship. While teddy transforms from Thomas to Tillie, her friends don't bat an eyelash. Also appreciated, the variety of activities doesn't change, making it clear that neither tea parties nor building robots are tasks reserved for one gender. The illustrations are sketchy and dynamic. Lots of motion.

I'm a fan of this quiet story about a teddy named Thomas who nervously tells his best friend Errol that, in his heart, he is Tilly the Teddy. Hurrah for Tilly and her loving friends - both new and old!

Read this BANNED BOOK about a boy teddy bear that decides she's actually a girl teddy bear. Cute and short. Nice art!

Jag läste Teddy för en uppsats, men hade hört om den redan innan. Walton presenterar transfrågor för barn på ett enkelt sätt och avdramatiserar komma ut-processen.
