I'm enjoying the cozy capers and their approach to the mysteries. The personal drama is not my favorite and I'm torn between a 3 and a 4 because of the personal drama. Sure - cozies tend to have a bit of a romance side story but sometimes the drama distracts from the mystery.

In this book, the main character has to overcome a major personality flaw, which is that she doesn't want kids.
Thank God she realizes that "family is everything" and of course without kids there is no family lol. 

The parrot is incredible, though. I would die for Belle. If Mac gets too busy with all the children she apparently has to have, I will adopt Belle.

Fun cozy. The mystery was good and kept me guessing throughout. I LOVED Belle and the interactions with Alexa. Hilarious!! Definitely my favorite part of the book. Looking forward to the next mystery in the series.
