It was ok-ish. I did like some parts, but most of the time I was bored and I wanted to be over with this story so even though I have a see Volume 2 borrowed from the library I am not going to continue with the story. I wasn't a big fan of the art either.
A very charming story & the illustrations by the various artists are amazing. Each chapter kept my attention. I love how the book plays with childhood innocence and something as macabre as death itself (or herself), putting the two side by side and creating an eerie yet playful tale.
La calificación puede ser más baja porque ya me había leído el libro. Aparte que esta novela gráfica solo abarca la mitad de la historia, tal vez por eso no me emocionó tanto.
This was amazing!! The artwork was beautiful and the story was very good. I cannot wait to read the second volume

I found these at the local library and had to impulsively check them out. This volume is the first half of the book and it follows the story very closely and has great illustrations. I was impressed at how well this adaptation keeps the mood of the book with the setting and character designs. I am going to have to own these books for sure. Also, a fun way to re-read the story.
