More than time management, this is a philosophical conversation that turns our approach to time in a 180.

This was a lovely book to listen to. I feel like it could have easily been such a downer, but I found it surprisingly light-hearted and uplifting. Found myself giggling, wanting to cry, and saying “hell yeah!”.

I'm on the fence about this one because the content was good but didn't feel very practical until the very end of the book. I might just need to reread though, to absorb the philosophy better. Ultimately, there's a lot of helpful info about how productivity and busy-ness don't really help us live lives that feel healthy or "right".
The advice feels similar to other current patterns emerging in this genre: focus on only a few "projects" at a time, build good relationships, find joy in the everyday, give time or money to causes you care about, practice accepting that you can't do it all, and regularly do what seems to be "the next right thing."
If you want a detailed action plan, this book might be a little disappointing. But if you want to be reminded of the ways that we humans try to bend reality to avoid thinking about our mortality, so that when you do get to the action plan part you're steeped in the philosophy behind what the author suggests trying, this is probably worth a read.
