The premise for this series is so fucking weird, but in practice this was actually a really sweet romance featuring a couple with remarkably good communication skills. The number one thing that drives me crazy in romance books is when there's a small problem that could be so quickly fixed by one adult conversation but, instead, the main couple just pouts in their opposite corners for 200 pages, and, at least in this first volume, this book completely avoids that issue. Literally every time this couple has a misunderstanding they talk it out in less than 5 pages, and both of the MC's are surprisingly emotionally intelligent and well adjusted. I really didn't expect to like this as much as I did, and I will defiantly be continuing the series.

I wasn't sure what to expect when starting this series, but it's so good! The concept is a bit ridiculous but it's so sweet too. Just a perfect mix of funny and tender moments, the guy is not a jerk and while the lady is not exactly confident, she's not a pushover either. Really enjoyed the first volume and looking forward to the next one.

was this weird? yes. did i enjoy it? also yes. this manga is just…so odd yet wholesome. only reason i’m not giving it a higher rating is because the relationship felt a bit rushed (emotionally not physically) but i’m still excited to read the other volumes and watch these very lovable characters grow!

I’m curious to see how their relationship develops in later volumes, but the male lead constantly looks so mischievous, it makes me nervous for whatever he’s going to do.
