I can't come up with enough superlatives to use about this book. Engrossing, riveting, terrifying, awe-inspiring. Just a wow all around. Such a tragedy that ultimately can't really be blamed on anyone. The book reads like a novel and is as much a page-turner as any fiction I can remember. I also highly recommend the audio version of the book.

i feel like this was the perfect combo of real life and tangible story, but also read like a narrative. i also loved the stylistic writing in the book. this was a truly heart breaking story to read, but it was definitely worth finishing. i was sad to see so much discourse over the events in the book, especially since everyone who survived already went through so much trauma.
