I was so curious about Huck from the start of the Sullivan family series, and this sweet novella did NOT disappoint. I’m so glad we got a glimpse at the start of his love story!

This was a really lovely novella and I'd recommend for anyone who has read the rest of the series and is looking for a sweet, short read.

I read this after reading the main books and I enjoyed coming back to the series to see how Huck met and got together with Cass. Huck pops up a decent amount as a side character in the main series and it's clear that he and Cass are completely smitten with each other. The way they met and fell for each other was really nice to read and it really backed up the vibes they gave off in the main books.

🧁 small town romance
📔 burly baker
🧁 in town to cover festival
📔 insta attraction
🧁 novellas that make you want more than just one taste 😜

📌”I almost did it. Almost crossed the room, invaded her space, and acted on the des!re coursing through me since the moment she stepped into my kitchen.”

How I missed you, Outtatowner. The Sullivans and the Kings. And all the strangers that become friends then become more. All the ones who make it a home and the ones who are passing by… until they’re not.

I’m on a “novellas? Yes, please!” era. And I like it here. I might stay 😜

Lena Hendrix worked her usual magic and easily made me fell for baker Huck and my fellow journalist Cass. Didn’t take many words for me to be completely under their spell. And now I want more. So much more. All of it. 🖤

Cutest novella!! Huck is just too precious for words. I loved how he was forward but shy about himself at the same time. Then she just gave him all the confidence. Loved them!

This was such a cute and steamy small-town novella. I loved both Huck and Cass. This is also a prequel novella to The Sullivan Family series, and I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

I loved this so much! It was a very cute, quick, read. Huck is so wonderful and sweet, and you can feel the instant attraction he has with Cass. I loved getting to see this side of him. Cass is so fun, it was love at first sight!
So happy we got to see the start of their story. It was even a little spicy too 🍯😏

So happy to have a bit more of Outtatowner as well. Love the charm of this town and seeing it through Cass’ eyes as she first arrived was wonderful!

Bring on the King family now! I’m ready for more of this world ❤️
