New Moon is the sixth and sadly the final enticing book in the Chosen By The Vampire Kings series. I am in love this amazing paranormal romantic series. Don’t worry we will continue to see the characters in the other books in this series.
With smoking hot dominant alpha males in all shapes and sizes with Ménage à trois, MFM love triangle, Vampires, Shifters, and Elves. It is erotic, sexy, sizzling, and everything to burn the sheets and everywhere else in between.
This original storyline has two smoking hot vampires Kings, mortal enemies who want the same thing. These men are ruthless, vicious, power players, and violent. They love hard and fast, with their whole heart. They love these incredible sassy, sexy, strong females that own them. The chemistry is off the charts and then some more.
This captivating excellently woven tale sees a tangled web of lies, deceit, suspense, drama and love. The characters each have their own voice in this series. I love that we get their POV because we get a feel for who they are.
There is lots of action, danger and war around every corner but given all that there are plenty of witty moments and humour that will have you laughing out loud. Zane and Becky crack me up and Tanya gets her vampire sandwich.
You need to get your hot little hands on this incredible original paranormal romance series today.
This book was the final book in this series and it was a very nice ending to the series although I will continue with the rest of the books by this author that focus on the other characters mentioned in this book.
The main characters are Tanya, Zane and Brant, in this book they are all reunited as Tanya has baby troubles and the boys get very involved fearing for her safety. The boys are also bonding and getting together as friends and by the end we get a look at what the three will be like as a happy couple (threesome).
The secondary characters are the same as in the previous books although I am very much looking forward to read more about Stephany and Xavier if they have their own books in other books.
The storyline has been nice and easy throughout the series and they are quick reads so that's always nice. The pacing was good and the story between the three main characters has pretty much come to an end while still keeping readers interested in the secondary characters.
4.5 stars a great finish to the short series

I wish I could give this series more than 5 stars... Very well written, hilarious at times, sweet, super steamy... Absolutely delightful in a nutshell. I love HEAs. And the main characters most definitely get theirs. I also like the fact that the next two series' are intertwined with this one. I highly recommend this series to all the PNR vamp lovers out there in Book Land.
Le sigh...
I went on this journey with these characters not really knowing what to expect. I'd never read this author before but I LOVED forced marriages. Call me old school with the whole bodice ripper mentality, but I love when a woman is picked and a dominant male insists on her accepting him. If that makes me a non-feminist then label away but I love me some barbaric manly chest pounding heroes. This is my cup of tea and I love how the author had a very effortless way of world building and bringing the story to a full arc. I'm a fan of the serial format because I'm a busy girl and I haven't got all day to sit and read most of the time, I get the weekends. This is one of my favorite serial series to date. I love how Tanya didn't give into the men, they were forced to work together for the sake of the women they loved, and for their race of people. It wasn't just a 'forced' situation. They all needed one another and sometimes stubborn people need to realize that they get along with someone that someone isn't an enemy just because your daddies didn't like one another. Zane seemed to get this but Brant had trouble and it took losing his woman to realize all this. This was a great story that had me laughing, crying, and falling totally in love with this author and her world!

I can not believe it's over. I so loved this mini-serial. I can not wait to read the spend off.
This was a really good serial, and I don't usually do serials. I need immediate gratification, but this was good....until the final installment. It had everything I like in a paranormal romance: humor, angst, snark, hot & dominant ALPHAS, great secondary characters, and last but not least a paranormal mating. Having two ALPHA vamps trying to mate a spit fire BBW was quite entertaining & erotic. I have no complaints really until the sixth and final installment where most of the story was spent with the heroine complaining and lamenting the fact that her ALPHAS couldn't get along, even though they actually were. Worst, it ends abruptly with a secondary character. Luckily, the series continues with another serial:( I'm most interested in reading her BBF's storyline, she was a boss.
This was my first time reading this author. I'll definitely be reading more of her stuff. Hartnady could be another Celia Kyle or Eve Langlais for me. Good stuff.

New Moon is the sixth and final thrilling instalment of Chosen By The Vampire Kings by Charlene Hartnady.
This is an incredibly good paranormal romance, with wonderful originality, Vampires, Elves, Shifters, a love triangle, Ménage (MFM), suspense, danger, action, adventure, some angst, and a bit of drama. All added together made this an intriguing, HOT, sexy, erotic, and captivating read.
The characters are all really well developed- with their own individual personalities, quirks, and flaws. The chemistry between them was electrifying! But that’s not all that made this such a great read- because the story is really well woven too, with an intensity I never expected. There was a little humour, and plenty of emotion too- which helped to balance the sexy, dramatic, and suspenseful elements. We get to hear from all three main players, and this made the story even more intense and intriguing.
This isn’t just a sexy love triangle, where two vampires compete for their chosen female- there is so much more going on. This is a war of species, with unusual alliances, hidden agendas, power plays, tenuous truces, ruthlessness, violence, danger, choices, being hunted, hope, reconciliation, unity, heartache, health scares, miracles, and so much more.
If you love paranormal romance, sizzling storylines, love triangles/ménages, wonderful characters, dominant alpha male types, feisty stubborn leading ladies, vampires, action, and suspense- all wrapped up in with wonderful emotional elements, then this is definitely a story you won’t want to miss out on!
Superb!
Thank you, Ms. Hartnady!
