Put your big kid pants on and hold on. This unique crossover between a sports romance and a mafia romance is a rollercoaster in the best ways. I adore the character development of all the people, not just the mains. Speaking of mains, Aidan and Rory are made for each other. They clashed together like a lighting storm and it was beautiful to watch it unfold. I've never read anything like this and I cannot wait for more - it's that good. Please be aware of your triggers before reading because there are some sensitive topics. Aidan will do absolutely anything to protect her - even when he doesn't understand why.

It's one of the better mafia romance stories to be released as of late. It is brilliant how the author was able to combine mafia, hockey, and biker romance tropes all into one. It wasn't overwhelming and made sense. Definitely worth the read. Can't wait to read what this author does next!

I started reading this book through BookSirens, and I was a bit hesitant at first when I daw the trigger-warnings. But my, oh my!
This story gave me a feeling I hadn’t felt in a while, only experienced when I read Wattpad but this one is so much better! It’s the perfect dark-romance intertwined with hockey and maffioso! It isn’t cringy, rushed or badly written. It’s fast paced, easy to follow and it drags you through the plot (in a good way)
The only negative thing I have to say, is a few beauty mistakes such as typo’s and that ain’t even negative at all if you think about it. There were just a handful in a little under 500 pages. For the mathematics: that’s 1% in typos throughout the whole book.
I can’t wait to read more of it!
