Beautifully heartbreakingly tragic. 
If I did not know about the triggers ahead and told that “it gets better” I would not have given this book a chance. I do not like “dark romance” and trigger filled books. I am so glad I gave this a chance. 
This is one of those books that will stay with you forever as it intertwines itself in your heart, as you ride on a rollercoaster of emotions. This book wrecks you but in a beautiful way.

At first I was nervous that the end was not going to have the redemption, or still too much pain and “red flag” behavior, but that wrapped together a bit better at the very end. I do wish that they were able to have cleared names and a bit more peace, able to return to normal life. This is honestly written better than JKR… I am sad that this version is not being published as it really needs that deep backstory that HP fans already know- new world building I do not see making the same impact. I did not like the one “deleted scene” with Snape.
