This book picks right up where the Grandest Game stopped and starts with all the intensity that is needed for a book 5!!
There is a little more character building and some background to help you pick up in the same place, but damn is it good and it's fast!
Jennifer's books are some of the very few that I genuinely have issues putting down and especially The Hawthorne series... what's not to love? Games/Puzzles/Murder/Kidnappings... it's got it all!
Needless to say, I absolutely adored this book, 10/10 stars and I can not wait for the next 2!!
