my girl gigi was pulling all the weight in this book cuz why are all of the interactions between lyra savannah rohan and grayson the exact same?? also jameson was in the right in the end GRAYSON WAS WARNED TO KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT. i did enjoy this tho and the jackson cameo made my heart burst!! Definitely way better than the first one! Loved all the romances (Grayson getting his woman finally thank you, we are all healing), Rohan and Sav, GiGi and new mystery man Slate HERE FOR IT!
What im not here for is Jamieson being a lil bitch and absolutely RUDE to Grayson and Lyra like sir you need to calm down and maybe not punch your bro in the face and realize he can love you and his girl???
I also still dont like that half the players are Hawthornes or Hawthorne adjacent it seems so unfair?? Like what do you mean Grayson can play these games hello

I really wish I would have reread The Grandest Game before reading this book. I think there was a lot of important things going on that I forgot about. There are so many twists and turns in this book, and it was a really fun read. There are definitely a lot of characters to keep straight, which can be challenging, but the author does a good job of reminding the reader who certain characters are in the series.
I will say, she for sure knows how to write a cliffhanger and I can’t believe I have to wait another year for the third book. Overall, a great book and series that I would definitely recommend.
