As other reviews stated (and I wish I’d read them first), I didn’t know this was a prequel. I was reading waiting to return back to the first characters and it never did. Left feeling really unsatisfied. I wouldn’t have read it knowing it was a teaser for another book. At least it was only a 10 minute read.

A short story with a Christmas theme - this is fun, but probably works best as a teaser for Claudia's latest book rather than reading it after you've read Love Me or Leave Me.

a bit of a pointless book. the synopsis asks the questions that you expect to be answered in the book, but they aren't and you are left none the wiser!
it's a prequel to another book Love me or leave me so can understand why it was written but it's pointless and didn't make me want to read the other book

What did I just read.
Failed to mention this was actually a prequel to another book.
Funny how 4/5 stories about divorce are supposed to be a cute Christmas read.

What a disappointing short story!
All I Want for Christmas focuses on the lives of three couples and the problems that face modern love. So far so good, right? However, the stories are never fully developed. We have no idea what happens to these characters; if I am honest we don’t really have time enough to fall in love with them either. Yet, we are left with a very ambiguous ending that destroys any possible Christmas cheer.
I don’t really know what else to say about All I Want for Christmas. I am just very disappointed.

This was totally unfulfilling. ...I didn't realise it was a prequel until I read the other reviews. ...If I'd been told up front it was a prequel I'd probably rate it higher as I did feel quite gripped right from the start....
