The fight to be on the Kings Row team begins. Loved watching Aiden fence against Seiji and Nicholas. Love seeing Seiji just be the best and give others advice to improve. Like Coach said, he is just in a different league. We‘re seeing the relationships build, especially Nicholas and Seiji, Harvard and Aiden.

did not think i’d be this invested in a bunch of fencers but alas, here we are.

I think this series has a lot of really fun and interesting characters, and this volume is where that really blossoms in a way the first volume wasn't capable of. Loving it so far!

I love how much about fencing I am learning from this series.
In this one we learn more about the characters and the dynamic over the team. We see how Nicholas is starting to grow more in his fencing and getting comfortable at this school. The friendships are starting to grow stronger in this book as well and we are seeing how those play into how they fence as well.

Still really enjoying this series that revolves solely around fencing team auditions in an all-boys school. Hard to believe it works, but it does!

These books fly by, it's so hard to stop and appreciate the volumes independently. It's lovely to see Nicholas making friends and beginning to fit in. I think it's something about those other characters that's so propulsive and really kicks off the series. I wish every issue were twice as long.
