The only reason I’d even think to read the second , let alone third or any others, is for the vengeance. However I can’t see how that’d be achievable when every single male character would need to be on the receiving end, and yes that includes the three MMCs. The writing didn’t suck, so 2 stars.

I was going through a real reading slump for a long time full of DNFs or did-not-even-start-s, but then in 2024 I decided to try out whatever the heck a "dark romance" was, and yeah. This is certainly it lol. It was interesting enough to read the whole thing and be curious for book two, but not enough to read book three (and maybe I didn't entirely finish book 2, I can't remember).
It fits for the target audience quite well--but I'm probably not it with the way it's approached in this book. It's hardly the sort of book that scars me, I'm not a stranger to weird shit, but there's a ton of iffy contents that I could stomach easily but never root for. The romance is just naww, get out of there, MC. How tf are you in love with them and chilling with your situation?
Anyway, the biggest thing is that I would've liked for more development on the problems done to MC being addressed by the guys. But it was like,revenge, fall out , fix, done. Happily ever after-ish.
