Julia is a pre-law student just out of a two year engagement, starting an internship at a prestigious law firm where she is stuck with the slave driver of a boss. (I mean working 15 hours a day...what the shit?!). This boss however warns Julia to stay away from Brad De Luca. He is trouble. Well of course, this is only going to heighten Julia's interest.

Julia and Brad finally meet. Have an innocent pizza dinner at work. Where, Julia who appears to be Miss. Innocent on the outside, actually is an inner slut, confides to Brad that she's never had an orgasm. Umm... first off you just met the guy, you are at work, and you aren't even a couple or friends. I mean... who does that? Cock tease Julia that's who- who is a self-proclaimed tease as she likes to be in control of the situation).

Well based on this, Brad asks her to accompany him on a trip to Vegas. I mean no side agenda at all. *SPOILER* (and not at all a shocker) Brad givers Julia her very first orgasm. Then after that she boldly tells him 'I am not going to have sex with you' You wait Julia, you just wait.

Well Vegas happens, and then propositions happen, and the usual smutty stuff... (won't give away any spoilers)...

This book did a good job with setting up characters, getting to know them a bit more than just having steamy sex. Julia wasn't the prototypical virgin who was afraid to stand up and speak. She let Brad know what was bothering her, what her limits were. But she was also adventurous. Brad on the other hand, is the prototypical male in erotica. Rich and successful with control issues that make him not suitable for a monogamous relationship. He just loves sex way to much, poor baby.

I have to admit I was waiting for more smut.... which made me excited to read the next book right away because of what was alluded to with Brad not being able to be in a monogamous relationship without the allowance of threesomes/group sex.

Blindfolded Innocence is comparable to one, long, delicious tease that delivers on its promise.

I’m delighted that I’ve finally been introduced to Brad and Julia. I loved getting to know them and watching them come together (perhaps pun intended). It was a great read and I can’t wait to continue their story.

I didn’t enjoy the writing style at the beginning - felt like everything was moving too fast and slow at the same time. Was going to give it 2 stars around the middle, but it just kept getting better and now I’m very curious about where it’s going to go!

Blindfolded Innocence is a well written, detail rich, erotic romance that follows the journey of Julia a "good girl" into a far more "bad girl" life. Ms. Torre gives us great background, engaging dialog and enough steamy sex scenes to melt your panties.

As a reviewer of erotic romance I read about many different lifestyle choices and relationships, I had a hard time with the way this one was presented. First Brad is really hard to like at all he really is kind of a jerk, second Julia is a tease and a brat and isn't much more likable herself. Finally the thing I had the hardest time with was that Brad is portrayed to have some bizarre sexual kink that is so deviant that he just can't share it with an innocent like Julia, Like it is something bad and wrong. I felt like that it painted people living an alternative lifestyle or having different sexual kinks as "bad". Maybe this was not the authors intent but this is just the way it came across to me.

So from a pure was this a good book based the technical things I look at heck yeah, was it worth a read yeah, I had my own issue with what I felt was the take on the lifestyle portrayal.

The power between Brad and Julia had me completely enthralled right from the moment they met!

"...this man was built like a god, with the disposition of Satan."

This book was really hot - it was great to hear it via audible. I rated it 3.5 because the believability of Julia - based on her age is a stretch for me. She seemed to be an old soul one minute and then a superficial teenager the next minute. Would have liked to have seen this story play out with an older character.

I had trouble connecting with the characters. I know a lot of people love this book, so maybe it was OVER hyped and my expectations were too high. Didn't love it. sorry!
