My comfort read, on my 3rd read through! The characters are absolutely amazing, the story is sweet yet grounded, and the chemistry between our leading ladies is as strong as could be.
On my first read I remember feeling that Delilah was a bit outrageous at times (champagne tower + trip in the lake). But I’ve come to love those parts even if they are far fetched.
Claire was a favorite of mine. I enjoyed the mother/daughter relationship and the connection to friendship throughout the story. She was such a stand up gal the entire time.
Overall a favorite of mine! I also enjoyed the other books in the series

Llegit en anglès. La veritat és que m’ha decebut molt el llibre. Casi tots els personatges són una mica males persones (la Delilah es queixa q la gent la tracta malament, però ella tracta a tothom fatal, l’Iris és una mala amiga, el plan que fan les dues amb la Claire per l’Astrid, etc). M’ha costat connectar amb la parella principal pq crec q els ha faltat molt desenvolupament de la seva relació. Els personatges tot i tenir 30 anys no resolen els seus problemes parlant, sinó que el llibre està ple de ✨miscommunication✨. Trames interessants com la relació familiar entre la Delilah, la seva madrastra i l’Astrid està mal desenvolupada i no arribem a tenir una conculsió. Llavors tenim el tema que la Claire és mare de la Ruby, una nena d’onze anys, que l’autora fa servir com un obstacle tota l’estona (escena de quan torna de casa d’una amiga) però intenta que no es vegi així.
Bueno, tenia moltes ganes de llegir-lo però ha sigut un let down.
PD: Tinc la sensació que la Claire tornarà amb el seu ex

This book has a lot of potential, but the ending felt rushed.
My rating is honestly generous because I really liked the characters. While I loved their sexual chemistry and the small-town trope, I didn't quite feel the romantic connection, or maybe I’m the problem.
I started to worry when there were only 6 chapters left and no progress was made in their romantic relationship or in their "mission" for Astrid's wedding. Then suddenly, in the next chapter, everything was just thrown in without buildup, and it all felt rushed.
Look, I know this is part of a series, so if that’s why the book wasn’t wrapped up neatly (like Ruby's reaction to their relationship, etc.), then I don’t get it.
I was planning to read the other books in the series, but I think I'll hold off for now.
