I FREAKING LOVED THIS ROMANCE! I absolutely could not put it down, I loved every single moment. There really isn't much to say here that hasn't already been fawned over, so I'll just make a couple points. Emily Henry is so incredible at integrating a heartwarming, emotional, squeal-worthy romance with complex characters who have a lot to work through, and I think this is her best use of that strength. Every word was enthralling, and I felt myself connecting and sympathizing with the characters so much along the way. The characters, the setting, the pacing, the "twists," the relationship progression — it was all perfect. I absolutely cannot recommend this romance enough.

Tldr; for a straight romance, I had a good time.

Thanks to Libro FM for the free copy of this book.

 - BOOK LOVERS was my first Emily Henry book and y'all did not lead me astray! This book was a joy. I loved Nora and Charlie, both a big grumpy, both big hearted, both working through their stuff together and separately.
- I did think it dragged a bit in the middle, but the chemistry between Nora and Charlie was enough to keep it going for me.
- The real highlight of this book was Nora and Libby's sisterly relationship. I loved that it was of equal importance to the plot with Charlie, and Libby wasn't just a plot device in the background. Their relationship felt real, and their love for each other was just as central to their lives as their romantic loves.

THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ

It is not just a romance, but it also explores the bond of sisterhood, family, balance of work/home life, and understanding the importance of following your passions.

The romance is also super cute between Nora and Charlie! Nora allowing herself to explore romance while understanding her role as big sister felt super relatable. Emily Henry's writing with sparkling dialogue, complex characters felt so real.

read if you enjoy books, exploring family dynamics, and cute romances that are just a little more than a hallmark movie.
