This book was just as good as the last one with the right amount of morally gray and spicy and really interesting characters at the same time. The characters are very interesting I especially loved Lucas and August they both had great chemistry even if they did not start off on the right foot at the start because of the psychic powers of Lucas that is. The other characters around them are interesting especially august's family a very interesting cast of characters other than them Calliope and Cricket are both interesting in their own ways. The story is very interesting it starts off telling of how August became one of Thomas's children and then moves on to telling of how Lucas lost his job and was treated like he was crazy because of who he accused it moves on to the first meeting where Lucas runs because of what he sees from August things move on from there things are uncovered and Lucas and August get together after many things happen they solve everything and the day is saved will read more soon.

Weird that we have magic psychic powers but I’m here for it.
Still love the series. So happy I own it

Well, holy hell!!

This came out on my daughter's birthday and I have never struggled so hard to spend time with her!!! A psychic and a psycho sounds like it could be an absolute nightmare for at least the psychic - being able to see exactly what sick, twisted stuff your lover is into seems like a recipe for trauma! But August isn't your average psycho - in fact, he's an incredibly intelligent, dorky lovemuffin! And Lucas is no pushover despite what he's been through.

It's to Onley's credit that she has managed to make these characters so different and yet you fall in love with them just the same! It was hot, fast paced, with appearances from the other brothers that will make you grin so hard! Noah and Adam are still my favourites but only by a smidge!

Cannot wait for the third one and it looks like thanks to Patreon I won't have to!

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

August was the most adorkable psychopath ever. That is all.

Ngl I wasn’t sure what to expect out of the clairvoyant thing, but it was an interesting addition to the way this family of psychopath vigilante k1IIers do things. I’m not sure what the author puts in these books, but I need to immediately start book 3.

Highlights:
- Romance: MM
- Diagnosed psychopath
- Vigilante k1IIer family
- Billionaire family
- Disgraced, clairvoyant FBI agent
- No 3rd act breakup
- Insta-love/insta-lust

i really enjoyed this book. loved learning more about the dynamic and relationship between these main characters!

August is the BEST psychopath!

And the psychopaths are back with a new mission and this one could put their entire organization at risk.

August, a child genius with an eidetic memory, survives through reading, music, and killing. His day job as a renowned physics professor is going to put him directly in the path of Lucas Blackwell.

Lucas, a former FBI agent, has been disgraced and hospitalized for his crazy ramblings about a fellow FBI agent being a serial killer. The reason he was locked away was he garnered this idea about the FBI Agent/serial killer, by touching the killer. You see, Lucas is clairvoyant although everyone thinks he is crazy.

One day, August and Lucas bump into each other, and when August reaches for Lucas to help him up, Lucas see’s August for who he truly is, a murderer and now August has a problem. Someone knows his secret. Can he convince Lucas that everything is not always black and white? Or will Lucas find a way to bring him and his brothers to justice.

I am going to be honest, I was cracking up during the first half of the book. August’s interactions with Lucas are so innocent and childlike for a murdering psychopath. When August doesn’t understand a problem, he reads a book. Now he is reading books on relationships and love languages in hopes he can woo Lucas. Yep, August has his sights set on Lucas now…and once these psychopaths lock onto a target, be it for a kill or romance, there is nothing that will stop them.

This second book in the series is fast-paced, dark, deviant, depraved, and absolutely PERFECT! I loved August and Lucas’ road to revenge and romance. Getting to see Noah, Adam and the other brothers was a bonus, but August totally stole my depraved little heart. Once again their are triggers, references to human trafficking, rape, and murder. But, as with Unhinged, everyone will get exactly what they deserve in this book.

I am totally looking forward to the next book in the series and will happily be reading all seven brothers stories! Atticus falls next and that is sure to be one heck of a ride. A definite recommendation from me!

*** note: don’t forget to read the bonus epilogue. The link is at the end of the book. OMG! I was swooning hard.

I love them together sooooo much!!! My heart!

Re-read: I heart this series so much. August and Lucas are a great addition--a psycho and a psychic. I love reading about the family members just as much as the main couple. Little snippets from each of them, getting to know their characters more deeply in each book. I love seeing more of Noah (probably my favorite character of the series) and Adam's relationship. Basically just all the things, I love.

A series with a family of psychopathic killers finding love shouldn't be so funny, but it absolutely is. James writes great banter and one-liners. The premise should be a little ridiculous, but it works so well. Loved it.
