thank you Onley James for representing a character on the autism spectrum that is highly intelligent that just has issues relating to people. Lucas is the perfect match for August because he doesn't care August isn't the best with people but does have passion in what he does love to do.

para tratar de un grupo de psicópatas entrenados para matar criminales, suele ser muy cute.
el primer libro me dejó con demasiadas expectativas y este no pudo alcanzarlas. amo a Adam y Noah con todo mi corazón y todas las interacciones que tuvieron aquí hicieron que me diera cuenta de eso. pero igual amo que los Mulvaney sean tan simp de sus parejas.
en general sentí mucho relleno, pero no es muy diferente a cómo se desarrolla el primer libro. claro que tiene una trama absurda y exageradamente retorcida, pero si no los leen esperando algo grande, son buenos libros para pasar el rato.

YUPPPP i really liked this book it was a step in the right direction from the first book of the series which i enjoyed. this book had most of the things that i felt were lacking in the first book, what felt like less smut, more depth in the characters and the plot, and it wasn’t an insta love situation where they hopped into a relationship the first night they met. I was however very surprised to find out this book was supposed to only take place over 7 days???? like what a lot happened in that week and therefore made it feel like they did move really fast. i was thinking like over a month maybe?? idk but i loved august as a character and seeing how autism and psychopathy made him who he was. and he was so caring for lucas it was really cute. this book had some good humor as well with the side characters like cricket. also loved the sort of super natural sense to it with lucas it was interesting and added another element to the book. love getting glimpses into the other brothers and noah and adam from the first book.
I think i’m giving it a 4 instead of five because i want it to be even more in depth. i just want more idk how to explain it it was fast pace which i love but i wanted more depth maybe to the other characters. it’s becoming a trend where the ending of the books in this series move fast and i as much as i like that i want to know more and see more of what happens after the fact.
but this series is really doing it for me i’ve been loving mystery & romance books and this series is all that wrapped in one.
