Quick & Light Read.

Perfect for a beach trip or a poolside read. Cute and to the point. I enjoyed both characters and the story unfolding.

Plot: QUICK romance vacation read. Writing: modest. Characters: simple. Spice: tolerable. Ending: quick.

Described in a sentence: A recently single influencer & her brother's best friend go on a couples only trip to Jamaica.

Overall opinion: Boy is this QUICK. This romance follows Bailey an influencer who recently found out her boyfriend and had a girlfriend and Cash, her hot yet rude brother's best friend. Bailey gets an invitation to a couples only trip to Jamaica & long story short they have to fake date + share a bed. As Bailey spends more time with Cash she QUICKLY discovers he's not so rude after all.

I loved this: Yo that scene when they were playing black jack made me blush. 😳

I didn't love this: I'm torn between loving how short and straight to the point this is and wishing there was more. It had all the traditional aspects of a vacation, fake dating, romance (trust me I've read a quiet a few) but just SO QUICK. It felt like the author wrote the major important scenes but very little connecting scenes.

Regardless this is a great quick palate cleanser and currently available on ku (there's a few typos). I will be picking up the rest of the series when I need a lil break.

I would say this was more like a 2.5-3 star read.
Quick, easy and will get you out of a slump.
There wasn’t very much of development from “enemies” to lovers so their love sort of came out of nowhere nor was it heart shattering.
However it was a fun time and that’s exactly what I need!

It’s a good story but it felt rushed. None of the feelings really felt earned. I knew pretty quickly the MMC had been harboring feelings but he goes from reluctant to all in overnight with nothing happening to make that feel earned. The rest of the book is similar hitting beats because they should not because of what’s happening on the page
