A disappointing end to the trilogy on the whole. Part of the problem was that pretty much nothing happens for over 2/3 of the book, which meant that I got bored with it and put it aside for about 6 weeks. By the time I returned to the story I had pretty much forgotten what was going on.
The final third of the book had a lot more action, and a conclusion of sorts, but it's too little, too late. It even had a God substitute lampshading the plot issues in a few brief chapters. It's a real shame that the story let the world building and a whole (demonic) host of characters down.
