I mean... It's Hamlet, isn't it?

Some consider it the pinnacle of English Drama. And I must say, while I don't find it to be my favourite Shakespeare, it is hard to not be enthralled. It's rare to find plays that move me simply by the words alone; there have been a few exceptions here and there but I can safely say Hamlet moved me to tears three times while reading and has left me with an explanation as to way it has been so revered in the canon.

What I loved MOST about this play is Shakespeare's sense of humour

"When sorrows come, they come not single spies. But in battalions"

If it weren't written as a play and I were more fortunate to find an edition which would've been written as a story, I might've enjoyed it more, nevertheless. The plot portrays intricate human behavior upon projection of their emotions and ideas, and it's obvious why hitherto Hamlet is a famous play and book.

The language proved to be easy to understand and figure out thanks to my previous experience with reading Tolkein.
