Based upon recent events coming to light, I am retracting my previous review.
I am not really familiar with the controversy of the author, so I will not comment on that and just focus on the content.
This was the least spicy "spicy book" I have read. The sexy scenes felt unnatural and were really not written well. For a normal book it was okay, but for an erotica? I expected waay more.
Also, this book is very short and packed full of smut. But the author decided to include a traumatic past for both characters, which felt so out of place and unnecessary. There was just not enough time to really connect with the characters on a level that you would care about stuff like that. Also, it did not fit into the flow of the conversations. It went literally like: “Hey, btw I have severe trauma that messed me up. Anyways, want to f*ck?”
Like a little plot and backstory is nice but I don’t think people read erotica’s for the thought-out plot.
Also, he makes her a dog bed… so there is that.
Two stars PURELY because he has a deep voice lol

As a gamer myself i was curious about this book and after seeing so many people recommend it in a Facebook group im in i decided to give it a go.
This book was fast paced, full throttle action and yet somehow still managed to maintain a really good story.
The characters arnt 1 dimentional, they have a depth to them and yet the story finishes all to soon even tho it gives everything it needs to!
