This was my second book by this author and I liked it! Just like her other book, it’s a quick and dirty read.
This book has degradation kink in it, which wasn’t in the TW. I personally wasn’t a fan of it and cringed a few times (among other things, he calls her a dog, makes her a dog bed, and puts a collar/leash on her). I do think this should have been in the TW section. I feel like it’s a hard limit for a lot of people, and judging from the negative reviews, that’s what most people had a problem with. It’s not my kink, but it didn’t ruin the rest of the smutty fun for me. Also, this is written entirely from Jack’s POV. I do think it would have benefited from having her perspective as well.

Wow, this book was super sexy and surprisingly emotional! Jack and Q are so freaking cute together. Loved that it was in Jacks POV and he was so obsessed with her. He was possessive and dominating while also having moments of being so sweet and caring. What starts off as a one night of kink and play turns into something more. I’m excited for the next book in the series.

I'm genuinely asking myself how a book like this got published. The writing wasn't thát bad (even though the dialogue could be terrible at times), but I've read fanfictions that were written better than this. It feels like this book just should have stayed at Wattpad to be honest.
I actually cringed at some of the parts, just because things felt so weird. It's also fall-in-love-within-5-hours-time book, which personally I hate xD
Maybe this just wasn't a read for me (even though I do adore Corpse and I can definitely see the appeal in someone with a voice like his), but going to AO3 or Wattpad will give you about the same results as this book.
