It was fascinating and I definitely learned a lot, however it felt like I was reading a dissertation. The grabbiness of the title isn't maintained throughout the book.
Did Baby Boomers ruin a lot for every generation besides their own? YES. Does that make them sociopaths? Not necessarily. This book makes a lot of bold claims that I'm not sure it sufficiently supports, but as a Millennial, I did find this whole book depressing.

Basically the boomers had a lot of advantages thanks to the previous generations. They then took advantage of these advantages, so therefore they are sociopaths? This book loses me with all of its sensationalism. It's like the movie Fahrenheit 9/11 came to life and wrote a book. The accusations get in the way of the data because they focus on boomers in power, not generational trends. There are so many more contributing factors to why the boomer generation is messing up, but every generation messes something up. The greatest generation raised these sociopaths after all. The founding fathers also created laws that directly benefited the white men signing the documents. If there's a loophole or an angle, people will exploit it. Doesn't mean an entire generation are sociopaths.
Final thoughts: meh.

While this author makes some bold claims about the baby boomers that he backs up with solid numbers, I struggled to get through all of it. I believe him but it was all a bit too much. Still he makes solid points on how the baby boomer generation has done an amazing job at really messing up our country and continue to do so with no repercussions. This was disturbing to read none the less.
Valid points but could be a third of the length.
