4.05 AVERAGE

As of right now, this is my favourite book in the series!

I love Gideon and is adorable way of lying. Perfection indeed <3

Of all the Lords I thought I would enjoy Gideon least. I stand corrected. So far, Gidlet is my most favourite team. Well played, Ms Showalter.

2.5 there are getting a little repetitive for my liking, the formula is feeling a bit old. I have the next 2 on my Kindle but I'll wait a while before reading them and hopefully they will be better.

Gideon is just priceless! I love that Lord :D it's so funny when he has to lie all the time, and says the opposite of what he really means, it makes for a lot of funny moments in the book.
Scarlett is excellent as well, but poor woman, not even knowing what part of her past is true or is a lie. And even if she loves Gideon, it was hard for her to accept her feelings, as she was so afraid her crazy mom or aunt would hurt him in order to hurt her.
There was a lot of cool information about Strider as well, and I have a feeling the next book might be about him and Haidee (or Ex :P) instead of Paris and Serena.

Much as I love this series, this one was hard work. Gideon speak can be frustrating, as much to read as it is to the character himself. I found his speech tedious as first came the lie, then the truth in his thoughts. That was fair enough, but it went on the whole book. I thought the author might give her readers a little credit and not have to translate him every sentence.

Aside from that, I enjoyed this as I have the 5 previous books. All these boys are lovable even though they have demons inside them and that is not an easy feat. I continue to love this series and look forward to the next installment

CeCe's mother commits suicide after news of her affair with a high school student come to light. CeCe has tried to stay behind the scenes at school ever since. But new boy Sam helps her to open up and she begins to suspect there was more to her mother than she has thought

A good mystery story. I was surprised by the ending and liked how everything came together.
