What a journey! This book it’s definitely one of the greatest written by Amy Harmon.

This book will devastate the reader. Though this story you will learn about Tag’s life and the meaning of sweet agony, because heartbreak can be beautiful and Tag’s history was that pure and sweet agony. Just like the old songs he likes so much.

I usually run away from books with characters battling with cancer, so I won’t lie, if I had known beforehand I wouldn’t have picked up this book after I read “The Law Of Moses”. There was no way, but I would have been missing out on so much.

“The Song of David” is a beautiful love story. I laughed and had my heart beating too fast all throughout the book. I cried, several times.

The ending seemed fitting. We didn’t see Tag die, we don’t know exactly how much time he had with those he loved and because of that I think it highlighted his life more than his death. And the fact that in the end it was simply him and Moses made my heart not break all the way.

Heartfelt plot, amazing and relatable side and main characters, overall a great book.

I’m proud to say it’s my first 5 stars of 2022.

This was a book that was written in a very different and peculiar way. The writing format made it special, not the story, not the characters. I like the way it was written, but the plot line was pretty average, hence the three stars. It may appeal to others more, but I didn't love it like other readers did.

I do love the characters she creates. They make me not even mind that they are woven shamelessly into a romance novel! :)

I listened to the audio books of The Law of Moses and The Song of David back to back. Highly recommend because they are amazing but holy moly it was rough on the heart. I absolutely LOVED the narrator for David. So good.

This is a love story between a man and woman but only from the male perspectives of David and Moses. And honestly it worked so well. It was unique.

This whole story was beautiful and emotional. I loved it.

You know a book is good when your heart pounds and you have tears threatening to escape nearly the entire time. And then they do escape and your kids look at you like you're crazy for crying over a book. But they just don't understand that Amy Harmon makes you cry!

I loved the way this book was written. It was unique. I actually looked up Braille letters and numbers. I loved how Tag told their story, and I loved how Moses was such a prominent part of the book. While I did guess at some of the events that were happening in chapters ahead, this book still kept me on the edge of my seat wondering where exactly Amy was taking the story. It is a beautifully told story, and beautiful doesn't even come close to fully describing it.

The ending left me wanting more, though I understand why it ended the way it did. It fit absolutely perfectly with the rest of the story, even though I was left screaming, "MORE! I NEED MORE!"

Five stars and kudos to Amy for another beautifully written book!

First read 6/5/15 - 6/5/15
Second read (audio) 1/23/17 - 2/2/17 and it is still.so.good. The audiobook is phenomenal! I loved the narrators. I love this book so much.

Is it wrong for me to already want to rate the book as 5 stars, based solely on Amy Harmon's past awesomeness? It's going to be amazing!! Can. Not. Wait.

"You don't have to beat it, David. You don't have to beat it. You just have to let us fight with you."

I had to close my eyes and just breathe after reading this book. All the pain, heartbreak and love I felt was overwhelming. David is such a remarkable character. He is so selfless and strong. Amelie is such a lovable character. It's not every day that you read a book that has a blind girl as the main character and I love how she was portrayed. She is strong and independent despite her blindness. I love strong female characters that doesn't need saving. Henry is also a remarkable. He has his own disability but he is full of heart.

I also love that we got to know Moses more in this book and how he has grown as a person. Tag and Mo are inseperable and I adore their friendship so much. Moses is not the warmest person but in this book, he has shown more of his heart. I love his scenes with Tag and I just cried like a baby when they exchanged Iloveyou's. Like, damn, Moses. I knew you had it in you.

I couldn't put into words how amazing this book is. How it made me bawl my eyes out and made me smile at the same time. It was crazy. It was a sob fest. The story is so inspiring especially for people who have lost their faith to fight. Miracles happen everyday and sometimes, we just have to believe in it and hope.

David have proven that he is the best fighter in the universe. And he did. He fought. And it was all or nothing. It was all.

It was a pleasure reading both Moses and David's journey to love and pain. Both are amazing people, also Georgia and Amelie who have been their strength all throughout. Over all, the books deserve 5 stars.

Thank you for this book, Amy. All the tears are worth it.
