At first, you hate the main character for the lack of empathy, but later because of a twist (which was great btw), you feel for him. I love the dynamic to the mc and Eri too, it makes sense is great. The end I interpreted as the mc continuing to make movies, but this time it's with Eri. I see this because of the end where it refers to the first movie he made that had the same ending, which was fake only after finding out the death of his mother was happening right then. I think it's the same for the end of the manga, where we found out Eri was a vampire was real. But everything after was fake (as in the ending of the manga) as it's not what actually happened in the Mc's life, but what happened in another one of his movies. Sorry if the 'mc' has a name. If he did, I totally forgot. Great character though.
