I read through this in one sitting and I was questioning reality the entire time, because I didn't know what parts were in his "movie" or what parts actually were occurring in his life. But it was such an emotionally rich story about grief and asks readers to think about how they would want to be remembered.

Tatsuki blends the medium of manga and film, creating a very unique work. He plays with time and perspective while exploring grief and memory. At times absurd and heartbreaking.

Okay, firstly, this is a tearjerker, NOT an action-packed fantasy like Chainsaw Man like I was expecting, and I loved it.

This was a heartbreaking read and I was definitely crying throughout the majority of the book. The reflections on death, dying, grief and memory were so unique and beautiful, I want a copy of this for myself so I can go back, re-read, and contemplate living with dying.
