November 2023 Reading Challenge
Prompt: read a book w/ a title that starts with any letter from "November"

I know I said I wouldn't continue the series after the first volume, but curiosity got the better of me and decided to read on. And I will say, this was a marked improvement over the first volume. Yes, there was still a lot of "omg Miyo's life has been so terrible, let's consistently remind you of that!" but it felt more grounded and less tragedy porn. Also, seeing Miyo and Kudo actually be a couple together was very sweet.

So yeah, this was actually pretty good. If my library gets more of the series, I might read more.

Ahh the plot thickens, and Miyo is slowly gaining some confidence. Good thing her potential fiance Kiyoka is on her side. I look forward to seeing her father, stepmother, and half sister get their just desserts!

AHHH THIS BOOK At first I thought it wasn’t going to be eventful but one the plot really got moving in this one and I don’t believe I need to wait two freaking months to see what happens next!!
