Time to Roar

Olivia A. Cole

3.91 AVERAGE

Introduces kids to a range of ways to respond to a problem. Each could be useful at a different time. The conclusion is magnificent.

The subject matter is a bit graphic for sensitive readers.

Worth it for the message the end. "But sometimes you must be a bear. Sometimes you must ROAR."

my kiddo liked this one, but I didn't. why did the bear roaring make any difference especially when none of the other animals could do anything

A fantastic book more suited for elementary aged children. This book is perfect for Earth day, finding ones own voice, and problem solving, plus it has great illustrations!

A simple, direct message, but a valuable one nonetheless. The rhythm feels a bit like The Terrible Things. A strong message of needing to raise your voice in advocacy at times when other methods don't work. Environmental themes also.

Love everything about this book. Art was great, message was great, could be interactive for story time if you wanted. Fabulous!
