At first I was concerned this would be like all the other books that cover this issue. Thankfully, this one is a bit different. Three couples, 6 people are taken hostage. They are being toyed with. David and his wife are among the group taken hostage. So is his pastor and his wife, and another close friend and his wife. They were all on a missions trip when this happened. Their captors seem hell bent on getting them to renounce their faith in God by using their greatest weakness to their advantage. Wait until you find out why!

The story bounces back and forth between the three couples, but focuses the most on David and Brenda, his wife. It's intense in places. I can tell you this wouldn't have held together at all with out the why this happened to them, and the follow up. It was worth reading. It would be a good book for people who have never read this kind of do you deny Him or not type book.

My copy came from Story Cartel in exchange for my honest review and nothing more.
