Glad I read to be able to talk about with my students, but can’t say it finished strong enough for it to be a recommended read to all my kids? Definitely a good hook for reluctant readers as the images are truly *stunnin*

Enjoyed it.
Story was good. it continued nicely and ended the series satisfactorily. I had a problem remembering everything that had happened before because I read 1-8 all together about a year ago. There were some new ideas and plot devices that were explored this book. They fit well into the story as a whole
I had a slight problem with how I felt that the last book set up a scenario for more stories in the future. It made it feel somewhat cliffhanger(y) and not like the end of a series. It ends with a series of ?affirmation? and pretty art. It felt a tad heavy handed. It's a children's comic and so I can't complain too much.
The art is exceptionally beautiful; maybe the best art of the whole series.
Review of the whole series. 5 stars, highly recommend.
It's another series my tween nephew recommended to me (the other being Bone; one of my all time favorite comics).
It's amazing. Probably on my top ten, or at least close to it. It definitely has a older kid / young adult feel to it but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Plot is strong and interesting. Each of the 9 books are paced very well. Each story arc feels important and well grounded on its own. Only complaint (and it's minor) is that the story starts out pretty heavy handed and will every once in a while go a little emotionally strong/manipulative.
The world building is great, and quite expansive. The magic is well thought out. the geopolitics makes the plot stronger, while not being overbearing.
The characters and their development is where the story shines the most. The character arcs are some of the best. Each main character, and a fair few recurring ones, all have incredible character development. Each development feels well paced and not forced. A lot of the characters are really likable too.
The art is quite good throughout but gets significantly better towards the end. The last book has really incredible art. The regular comic has a good art style that is well done, but there is always a big 2 page splash art in the middle that is beautiful.

Overall, a decent ending, good message, and as always, beautiful artwork. Still a little miffed it took so long to get this one done. It felt a little rushed at points, so maybe it should have taken longer.
cool to reach the end after 16 years. actually wild, i started this when i was just a kid in elementary. It was a pleasant series to stumble back into. A lot of cute messages throughout the story to the readers. Even if it is a bit all over the place and I find myself a bit confused about the plot of the entire series altogether I appreciated seeing the story book by book and piece together. The ending was deep and beautifully written in it's own way. I like the moral of the story/message the series or book is sending. Love the graphics as usual.
The dialogue got kind of repetitive and I'm sad about my ship.
Also did they ever go back to the treehouse???
