Listened to Karen Savage's reading of it, very good. Displays Jane Austen's skill in depicting side characters and family dynamics, as well as a satisfying inner monologue.

I enjoyed the story, although it seemed to focus more on the other couples than the main characters. I wish there was more interaction between the main characters so I could more feel the tension and subsequent passion of their love.

Anne Eliot and Captain Wentworth get their second chance and I loved this second read of this book. I think the first time I read it too fast and didn’t savor the subtle story, but this time was much better! That love letter, it’s the one that all love letters should be modeled after. I’ll definitely pick this on up again!

I'm sorry Pride and Prejudice but Persuasion is now my favorite Austen novel.
