School spirits:
I remember starting this back in 2016 maybe, on Tapas. I don't know if it is the format but this was a mess. From no explanation of what was going on, to how much I could seperate one character from the other, which really confused me. I don't think this was a good way to showcase this graphic novel. The art is still beautiful, but it was a messy.

Ruined:
Ok, this was sooo good. I was shocked of the nudity, but I do nlt totally mind it. Maybe a warning would be nice I quess. Anyway. This stlry seems really interesting and I would love to hear what happened.

The ruby equation:
The story felt a bit rushed here. I still loved the idea of it. But it went to fast. The art style is too colorful for me, I prefer a more grim colour scheme. The story is still adorable, so..

Beauties:
Wow, I love the art style here. The lesson given is beautiful. But it also felt rushed. But since it is a retelling of Beauty and the beast. So there is no mysteries here.

I absolutely ADORED this collection! "School Spirit" and "The Ruby Equation" were probably my favorite in terms of art and plot, but each of these stories were so beautiful and delightful.

How...charming! There is all manner of romance here, especially in the first story. There is some charming art. Though I personally am not that into straight-up romance, I had a great time with this volume.

I enjoyed the representation and diversity this collection offered as well as the mixed-media aspect. Some of the stories I liked more, some not as much - but overall it was a pleasant reading experience

I picked this up from the library last week, 1. Because I like graphic novels and 2. This was like the only one I haven’t read yet. I’ve pretty much cleared out the library hahaha. This was very... meh... might even move this down a star.

An anthology of four longer stories and one very slight one by a collection of excellent authors and illustrators. Kate Leth and Arielle Jovellanos's contribution is a star-crossed high school romance that was a little too frivolous for my taste (though I did appreciate the inclusion of queer characters). Sarah Vaughn and Sarah Winifred Searle's story is the first chapter of an Austinesque tale of a woman entering into a marriage she already regrets. Sarah Kuhn and Sally Jane Thompson created a very fun twist on the coffeeshop au- a literal magical girl who's task is to match up couples to fulfill her assigned quest. Marguerite Bennett and Trungles collaborated on a fairy tale in which a captured beast and a youngest daughter must overcome extraordinary odds to reach their happy ending.
