Timid is book 2 in the Lark Cove series and it did not disappoint! We met Jackson and Willa separately in Tattered so I was excited to see how their story played out. We did get a glimpse at the beginning of their story in the first book as well and for me those unrequited loves just hit different

Slow start but once we got passed the almost repeat of the overlap from the first book it moved quicker
Complete story and I love this world.
Can’t wait for the next book ❤️

This has been my least favorite Devney Perry series so far. wtf is with the violation of privacy and people swooning over this?? This whole story was so weird 😅

Here's the thing with this one; I liked it. It wasn't that bad in my opinion but I could not for the life of me care for the MMC. Jackson got on my nerves in almost every chapter. No matter how hard he tried to convince me that he liked/loved Willa, I just couldn't believe him. I loved Willa, she was my favourite character in the book; she was kind, she was strong and most of all I loved her evolution! But she definitely deserved a lot more than Jackson. I'm not gonna lie, her devotion and loyalty are something that I strive to have but he did not deserve her. Every time he mentioned that he wasn't the marriage type and he would break up with her soon and then didn't, I wanted to reach in and give him a piece of my mind! The rest of the book was really good though; from Ryder's plot to the whole murder investigation, I enjoyed that a lot. Just not the MMC.
