DNF @ 70% - Himbo amnesia, murder mystery, too much external plot not enough romance. A little more internal dialogue than I’d normally like and as much as I wanted to love Jackson he wasn’t book boyfriend material. Maybe it comes together in the last 100 pages and maybe I’ll circle back later.

I have mixed feelings about this one.

We follow Willa and Jackson in the same timeline as Tattered. Willa has been in love for 10 years with Jackson but he hasn't noticed her, like ever, to the point that he remembers her name as Willow. But then he can't stop pursuing her just as she has decided enough is enough. It gets cute af really fast.

I liked a lot of parts but I didn't really love them the first half or maybe I'm just being picky because I was looking for more angst? idk
