It was okay. Storyline was pretty slow and tunnel only on the the hero and heroine. Conflict was pretty disappointing and the plot twist didn’t really save it.

Honestly, I adored the fact that although Willa (26) comes off as shy and timid, she does indeed have a back bone. Plus add in the fact that she didn’t just fall over Jackson’s feet when he finally noticed her was like chefs kiss, she made him work for it. When we met Jackson (31) in Tattered, to me he felt like someone who was just lost trying to find their way, but man did I want to slap him silly, but also hug him at the same time!!! I’m just glad he finally stopped running away from how he was truly feeling and how Willa wasn’t going down without a fight.
I loved the small moments we got to see with Ryder.
Although I enjoyed the “suspense” towards the end, I felt like it was randomly thrown in and I would have preferred more of a build up. I believe the book would’ve been good without it.

ugh!! devney is so so good, and this one was even better than tattered! small town romance QUEEN! highly highly recommend devney perry to anyone who is a fan of small town romance. jackson is SO HOT and he redeemed himself so nicely from tattered. willa is literally so cute, and i love her so much
