this felt like reading a video game (maybe because each location felt like its own story? honestly no idea i cant explain it but thats how it felt)
either way this book was so much fun to read and i appreciated that the ending tied all the loose ends, even the loose ends i forgot about lol.
keeping track of all of the characters was a bit of a challenge because there were soooo many but it was manageable enough (if you are like me and you didn't care about remembering their names half the time lol)

I enjoyed this book. I expected to drop it 50 pages in, but something about the writing style and the way the character's stories all intertwined with one another enthralled me til the very last page. I loved how it gave a Baccano feel with various characters in different POV's all at the same 'time' of incidents which made it much more fun to read. I loved it and I think the characters will all have a soft spot in my heart.

This reads like interconnected short stories. Definitely slow, but great for fans of westerns.

Had a delightful time with this one. We get a lot of good characters in the book, even little ones that stay for a page or two. I never felt like it was out of hand. Everyone was distinct and had a unique voice. All the characters have a true to them point on life. Nobody has plot armor, and you may lose the one you like most.

This book has a great villain who I genuinely felt could get away with something bad by the end, though not winning entirely. The climactic battle felt cinematic and tense.

I would highly recommend this book. Especially if you're like me and haven't liked westerns in the past. It has all of the good stuff you expect from a western while leaving most of the bad behind.

This book was fantastic. I loved all of the intertwined narratives and the gradual boiling point. The ending was very satisfying.

Im not understanding all the praise... For a book with loads of potential, I felt it didn't deliver on many fronts other than creating an interesting setting.

Somehow has both too much going on and not enough. I didn't really find any of the characters particularly endearing and the plot was predictable.

And I absolutely hated how they'd done the songs in the audiobook. Completely unnecessary and distracting.

gave me a great feeling of dread throughout the whole book. I am not the target audience, but I am not upset about it. Good book, good storyline, lots of fucked up shit.
