Well written though without a distinctive voice, very slow pace. Enjoyed the latter half the most. Rabbit’s character was very intriguing! One of my first forays into Westerns and I enjoyed it pretty well :)

Wow! I LOVED this book. I had been putting off reading it for a while, though it has been on my TBR. When this book was selected for book club I was excited. 

I did not expect how much I would enjoy this book. I absolutely recommend!

Do you like Epics? This is the one. It has everything- crazy magic, demon toads, angsty ghosts, badass women, excellent characters, and a damn good twist. If your pattern recognition is good enough, you may guess it, and I usually hate that but I kept reading because it was so well written and I needed the ending.
