Interesting part of history of WW1 - never even knew about the CLC. Found the book a bit long and the jump in time at the end quite sudden. Did enjoy the history section at the end.

Chang weaves a beautiful story, but unfortunately her pacing is a little slow for my taste. I almost didn't finish it, but 50% through I was finally hooked in.
