3.5 ⭐️ = Quite Good.
Audio.
This is definitely one for snowboarding mystery lovers. I know absolutely nothing about this sport apart but do find it good to watch.
For the first three quarters, I found it dragged a little but the last quarter was good and quite tense. Hence ,I was unsure how to rate this book but finally plumped for 3.5 … somewhere in the middle.😁
I’ll certainly read another by this author,as the writing was really descriptive and set the scene incredibly well.

Too dark for me. A creepy foreboding feeling I did not like

I enjoyed this. I'm not much for snowboarding, so those bits didn't interest me as much as they might an enthusiast, but I did enjoy reading a book from the perspective of an athlete. I don't think I've ever read a thriller from a perspective like this before. The plot was outlandish, as with many mystery/thrillers, but it did keep me reading. I thought each chapter switching between the present and past worked well as it kept the pacing brisk, since I wanted to know what had happened ten years before, as well as what was going to happen in the current time.
