3 stars. Not going to lie, I was kind of bored for a good chunk of this. It wasn’t a bad book, but not much happens for a majority of it until things get crazy at the end and that made it kind of a chore to get through. All of the action and excitement doesn’t happen until the end and it was great but I wish the rest of the book would’ve been as exciting. I think I would’ve given this at least a four star if it had’ve been.
I wasn’t rage reading, which is great but where is this series going?? It seems to just be dragging on with no end in sight.
Mac wasn’t just standing around watching all of the action this time and complaining about lack of sex! I was so proud of her. She really came through in this book, specifically at the end.
Speaking of the end, I thought it was really well done. I loved the moment between Mac and Jada and I look forward to those two kicking ass together and just being awesome. The ending was also a crazy cliffhanger reminiscent of the first four books so of course I’m going to read the next one because these books are like crack. I hate (majority of) them but I.can’t.stop.reading.

I have liked this one the best since the original series (the first five books). The newer ones have different perspectives which can be interesting, but confusing at times. I am very happy with KMM's Feverborn. I can't say much without ruining it, so just read it already.

I liked this book quite a bit, however I felt like it wasn't the strongest book in the series. I still love the series and I can't wait for the next release.
When the description says it's sexy, believe it! But it's also a great series. Now I'm off to see if I can find the next one.
A SOLID 3.5 rounding up for posterity and the QUALITY of the audiobook!
Redemption. While Burned was an assault on all things wonderful about the Fever series, Feverborn attempts to make good on the error. I personally could live without Mac's incessant inner mumbling and I still miss my favorite characters realness (Dani and Christian). However, yes. This totally works. And If y'all didn't see that cliffhanger coming a mile away, there is no help for you!
AND
I LOVED THE AUDIOBOOK, anyone who says one word about it is WRONG. Luke Daniels is a phenomenal voice actor and I very much enjoy his other readings (MUST LISTEN: Iron Druid series by Kevin Hearne). As for the controversy surrounding this issue, all I have to say is it was incredibly horrible and VERY badly handled by Ms. Moning, so far as to say I ALMOST didn't read this book and had I not pre-ordered the title before I knew of the controversy I would not have... So that leaves me unsure about the next title.
