I loved Against All Odds SO much. At this point, I don't think I could choose a favorite in this series. Everett gave Miles a run for his money. The things he did for Violet and the baby, and his mom 🥹 The Easter egg involving Eli Walsh had me squealing!!! I'm so looking forward to the next book, but it's bittersweet being the final book in Ember Falls.

The only issue I had with this book is the feel hard fast and after that it just was kinda boring. There was a little bit that happened with her ex and the surprise pregnancy but Everett just is ok with everything.
I guess I needed a little more pinning or something. I found myself bored and not wanting to pick it up and finish the last 100 pages but I pushed through. Even the spice was not spicy

This second chance romance will grip your heart from the first chapter. The entire novel is full of wild emotions. Corinne has a beautiful talent of knowing how to make a reader fall in love with one character, while completely despising another.
