This was a totally pointless read. Extremely shallow. The writing style is very basic and full of annoying similies. "They both stood still as a statue and silent as a tomb ". I'm actually now wondering if this was written by AI.

The Girls in the Falls is another installment in the Sweetwater Falls mystery series, and it does not disappoint. A crossover has Blake Wilder teaming up with Spenser Song to solve a complicated mystery. The only thing missing from this story was Ryker, and any hint of romance.

Decent book overall, not my favourite murder mystery/ thriller but the town sounded interesting and it was a good introduction to the characters of Spenser and Ryker. The pacing was trying to be fast but got bogged down a few times.

I might read the next one because I'm emotionally invested in the coffee.
