black cat fmc x sunshine mmc dynamic will always be loved! It’s definitely my favorite in the series so far. Xaiver was so sweet and patient with sloane all throughout the book. he was such a flirt that i was giggling so much from. sloane was the best in the book. she’s so strong and the way she cares for her sister. I absolutely loved xaviersloane both scenes with her sister. I wasn’t expecting to be so emotional reading this but both of them had their own vulnerabilities which really touched me.

I absolutely LOVE Ana Huang and The kings of Sin series, and as the series progresses it has gotten better every single time. I loved that it was a reverse grumpy x sunshine and we got to see a strong female main character. Especially one that holds her own and is extremely successful!!! Much like Ana’s other books, there is always representation and inclusivity which is HIGHLY IMPORTANT in a story.
Also XAVIER!!!!!
I found myself rooting for him more than the main character at times if not all the time. Within the grumpy x sunshine trope, you saw an IMMENSE amount of growth that just made my heart swell. I def hope to see more of him in later books similar to other stories within the series where previous characters make an appearance! He also is DEFINITELY one of my fav book boyfriends by far ⭐️

It was hard to connect with the MC's. Their chemistry wasn't believable and there wasn't alot happening with the plot so it was difficult to fully invest in their journey.
