god where can i start with this book…I just want to preface this by saying King of Greed completely knocked it out of the park for me. It was something so different AH explored and I love Dominic and Alessandra but KOS completely missed the mark for me.
pros:
-solanes kick ass, boss babe, im that bitch vibes
-The Fish
-solane & pens relationship
the solane & her family back story
-that somehow dante russo was involved in all of this
-NO MARRIAGE PROPOSAL OR PREGNANCY ENDING!!!!
cons:
-no reason for this book to be as long as it is. So much filler. PW subplot was weird, never mentioned who the saboteur was etc etc.
-xavier never gave “sloth” vibes to me in the first place, I feel like his unwant to do anything, in proper sloth fashion, shouldve been fleshed out more. I just took one push from his family and solane saying she believed in him to get him going.
-AH is becoming insanely repetitive. Rich man who is stuck in his ways meets the woman who will change him, they slowly fall in love over their course of the book wether that be from an arranged marriage or business relationship. Smut. Marriage or pregnancy ending. Blech. Its becoming boring and idk if I want to read KOE at this point.
-Not every character needs to speak a different language the Spanish felt so forced and so do the nicknames.
It was just insanely boring and repetitive. Theres a reason why I took a 15 day break when I only had 2 hours left per my kindle. I just couldnt do it.

Huge fan of Ana Huang.. this one was just a bit anti climactic! I’m excited to complete the series though.

Den var fin nok. Intet vildt. Havde ingen interesse i deres forhold.

When I need a brief escape from reality, to a place where there is luxurious romance, grand gestures, and crazy family drama, I read a billionaire romance from Ana Huang. King of Sloth has all of that but with a reverse of the grumpy-sunshine trope and protagonists that bring butterflies and banter!! Xavier is a typical billionaire but his friendly personality and wit made this story so different. I love Sloane and she compliments him perfectly!
