Us Against You had me in all of my feelings! I found myself laughing, crying, worrying, and getting angry. I really couldn’t put this book down once I started. The way it was written, I thought I had a few of the plot twists figured out, but I was wrong, and I love when a book can do that to me. Us Against You touches on a lot of hockey, and a lot of factors that I feel are very important. The storyline talks about rape, sexuality, addictions, death, and more. This book really had everything. If you’ve read Beartown by Fredrik Backman, I suggest you read this one as well!

Not at all surprised that Backman has delivered yet another 5 star for me. I got so many chills while reading this book, I can’t think of any other authors whose books give me chills.

Said it before and I’ll say it again…Fredrik Backman is a genius!
This is the second book in the Beartown trilogy, I loved as much as the first ❣️
I love so many of these characters and, again, had lots of moments where I had to just stop for a minute, close my eyes and hold the book to my chest, and quite often cry, not necessarily sad crying but ‘I have been moved’ crying ❣️
